Aksa Energy increased its net profit by 129% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached TRY 813 million.
Aksa Energy achieved TRY 8.3 billion revenues, which is 58% high compared to the same period of the previous year. The Company also reached its EBITDA to TRY 1.7 billion.
ISTANBUL- Aksa Energy, which is a global power producer with the total installed capacity of almost 2,000 MW,announced its 9 months financial results. With the record profitability, Aksa Energy increased its consolidated net profit by 129% and reached TRY 813 million. Its revenues also reached to TRY 8.3 billion with an increase of 53%.
Aksa Energy had a successful year both operational and financial and increased its EBITDA to TRY 1.7 billion with an increase of 60%. Its EBITDA margin has been 21%.
Aksa Energy CEO and Chairman Mr. Cemil Kazancı evaluated the Company’s 9 months financials and said: “We exceeded our financial targets for the year-end 2021 in only 9 months. We have much bigger targets for 2022. We will raise our installed capacity to 2.706 MW in the first quarter of 2022 and thereby, half of our installed capacity will come form our overseas investments. Thus we will rise to the position of Turkey’s largest publicly traded global energy company on the basis of installed capacity”. Mr Cemil Kazancı also stated that Aksa Energy’s net financial debt/EBITDA ratio was realized 1.53 and the debt level is below the sector average.
Mr. Cemil Kazancı said: “We will continue to grow with new investments in a wide geography from Africa to Asia, adding value with our investments both to our country and to the regions we operate”.
